Exterior

Overall the car is very close to stock appearance on the outside. Obvious modifications include 5X Racing tow hooks front and rear, the openings for the brake ducts replacing the factory fog lights, and the removal of the antenna (hole is covered by a rubber plug) and of course the wider wheels and overall lower stance.

I wet sanded and UV clear coated the headlights in 2019, and they’re still crystal clear today.

The hardtop does have a hole drilled into the center of it for an antenna. Currently the hole is sealed with a rubber plug, its barely noticeable but it is there.

The paint is very good – for a track car. There are minor rock chips and scratches on the front, and there are a couple of places where the black paint shows as grey where a previous color correction was a little too aggressive. The rear spoiler has some paint flaws also, nothing noticeable when moving or from 10′ away but again, it’s really not a show car.

As a minor perk (?), when you do get another rock chip it really doesn’t matter.

The numbers and “tow” labels are all vinyl. I plan to remove everything except the tow labels before sale.
